This summer, as a surprise, I bought some fun nail polish for my 3 best friends and I. I found the perfect polish at this awesome Etsy shop: Metametics

Her shop is all homemade nail polish inspired by geeky TV shows, which I obviously love. Game of Thrones, Sherlock, The Avengers, and my personal favorite (and the inspiration for these manicures) *Avatar: The Last Airbender. The greatest television show of all time. If you haven't seen it, you really should, it's on Netflix Instant! Or I guess maybe your kids should, depending. It is technically a children's show. 

*Disclaimer: I am not talking about the super terrible live action film "The Last Airbender" which is awful and we do not speak of. 

 Airbender Manicure

This polish was the most opaque of the 4, and didn't need a base coat, just a few coats of the Metametics polish and we were good to go.

Firebender Manicure

The glitter in the firebender polish is fabulous, and the formula is super spreadable and great. I swiped it on over two coats of Ulta 'Red Carpet Red' and Sephora by OPI 'Blasted Black'.

Waterbender Manicure

This waterbender polish had a slight blue tint with lovely blue glitter. So pretty!

Earthbender Manicure

I love the green and gold of this earthbender polish. We used a couple coats over a base coat of Ulta's "The Jungle Look".
